This month’s tutorial is a sweet little project you can make from a 6" x 6" piece of Designer Series Paper. It’s quick, cute, and a great way to use some of those smaller pieces in your stash, including that pretty paper you’ve been saving for “just the right project.” Talking to myself here. 😂

5 Things I Noticed in the July Online Exclusives

The July Online Exclusives release has landed, and it's a big one. There’s Christmas, Halloween, florals, everyday stamps, papers, embossing folders, and a few little details that are very easy to miss if you're only looking at the online photos.

1. It’s a much bigger release than May

There's genuinely something for everyone in this release, from Christmas through to everyday florals. If you want a printable version of the full release, download it here.

2. Violet Dreams has an easy-to-miss surprise

The Violet Dreams Suite is getting plenty of attention, and rightly so. It's pretty and it features purple! The Specialty Designer Series Paper includes two sheets of push-out die cuts that I didn't even realise were there until I opened the pack.

3. A Stitched Season is worth flipping over

My favourite suite in this release is A Stitched Season. The Stitched Stocking bundle is gorgeous, but the paper is what really won me over. That said, the side with the block quilting designs is very geometric so can be a little challenging to use on some fun folds and narrower panels, so definitely flip it over and look at the reverse-side prints before you decide it's not versatile enough.

4. Don't scroll straight past Halloween

I don't really do Halloween crafting, so most of that section isn't where I'd personally spend my money. But the Swirls of Magic Embossing Folder is worth a look, even if Halloween isn't your thing either. It has a lovely swirling pattern that could work beautifully for all sorts of cards throughout the year.

5. There are some everyday gems tucked in too

The Simple Leaf Punch is worth a closer look. I predict it will be great for making the petals of flowers and all kinds of clever punch art, as well as leaves.

The Textured Tree Ring 3D Embossing Folder is another one I can see earning its keep well beyond one season.
